About the Author

David Stevens is a criminal defense attorney in Illinois. As a trial lawyer, storytelling has always been central to his work—crafting narratives that help juries understand complex human experiences. Inspired by his own children, he began writing fiction to explore the idea that ordinary young people can discover extraordinary strength within themselves. David lives in Illinois with his family and enjoys watching his daughter play piano and golf and his son perform in theater productions and excel in film school. The Keepers’ New Army is his debut novel and the first installment in a planned series.
